Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky 'Auditions' Her Men at The Lion King

Can a Broadway audition help identify the perfect mate? Ali Fedotowsky, star of the ABC-TV reality series The Bachelorette, will find out when she is joined by seven bachelors for a group date at the megahit Broadway musical The Lion King. In an episode set to air on June 14, Fedotowsky “auditions the men to try and sing and dance their way into her heart, with the hopes of being chosen to make his Broadway debut with her in that night’s performance,” according to a statement from the show.

In week four of the series, Fedotowsky's hunt for her soul mate includes a trip to New York City and Minskoff Theatre, where she is joined for the “auditions” by Disney Theatrical Productions head Thomas Schumacher and members of The Lion King creative team. No word yet on whether the Bachelorette and one lucky (?) guy actually take the stage together alongside Simba, Scar, Mufasa and Rafiki.
